Bat advice please

I'm after a bit of advice so hopefully someone will be able to help.

I started playing again last year after 10 years off and have just been playing midweek stuff at not a brilliant standard. Last year I bought a puma tribute 4000 bat off ebay which is quite good but maybe a little light for me. I'm looking for a good new bat to replace it now, ideally close to 3lb and a good grade of willow.

I used to be a tail ender but since I hit the ball hard and am now playing at a lesser level I bat in the top 6 now. Being honest I'm not the best bat and tend to slog quite often, but when I connect the balls tends to go miles.

I'd love something like a redback or ayrtek but realistically only want to spend about
£120 at the most. On eBay there are quite a lot of kookaburra 800's going for around that so Im tempted by those.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good, fairly heavy bat for a front foot player for about £120 max. Would it be worth me waiting for any end of season sales?

Look at Solitaire mate - £125 for a new bat and seem to get good reviews on here....

I would be very wary of bats on ebay,you will get a better deal/bat on here  :)

I'd have to go with the advice of Solitaire. You'll get an excellent bat, it'll be on the heavier side, and from others on here who have had them, it will be a "gun"...

Additionally, you could look at some of the SG Bats from http://onlinestockist.com/SG-C36044.aspx?sid=3191?s=Name%20ASC&p=1 . The SG VS319 bats appear to be used by a number of the Indian players, and look really quite good for not a lot of money.

I'm checking out the bat cave this weekend!
Have around 100 bats to check through!  :(
So not sure what I have right now, but I have some gems which are wasted just sitting there not being used!

I used a couple of absolutely amazing bats which I had in the back of the bat cave, so that prompted me to sort through them all!!  ;)
Obviously someone of my obvious batting ability should be able to use them all eventually but who am I to deprive others of my collection!
