It was 3-1

Mate, come on, you are on an English cricket forum, we are currently 2-0 up against India, we saw off Sri Lanka, we buried you lot, we have class falling out of our arses. You however, do not.

You are currently feeling how we have felt for years...not nice is it, and long may it continue :)

(Fair play to you though, you are out-numbered and out-gunned, but still fighting the fight. Some good Aussie spirit there Langer ;) )

First innings. Really? He made your lot look terrible. Also, Davies isn't a dud, just so we're clear he's a better keeper AND batsman than any of your lot, and I've kept up with a lot of Aussie cricket, so I'm fairly free to comment on that. Bopara I agree with, he's useless in my opinion, but still.
Also, as far as I remember the Ashes was 3-1...?

My bad, was a typo. It really showed when he played in the one day series, I heard the commentators say people compare him to Gilchrist, so I thought he must be good, but then I saw him play and just laughed my ass off.

I can't argue as England are going very good atm, but once all the safers go, will you be as good? Probs wont be for ages though.

I honestly don't feel that we are that bad, the selectors are, but I just don't think we are terrible just yet. Will see how wer go against Sri Lanka and then South Africa.

Lol, like 3 or 4 replies to my 1, ahah. You won't convince me and I won't convince you guys, so agree to disagree

For me, he's not ready yet. He is, however, better than all your lot like I previously stated (Brad Haddin? I mean come on, really?!) although Tim Paine would push him close.
2 years ago, move on.
Okay, so, this years Ashes, that'll do ;)

Nobody said you are terrible, just not as good as you once were. It's just that Aussie arrogance thing I suppose, I like it. Makes it more fun wouldn't you agree?

Happens to the best of us...keep your chin up mate ;)

And when you say it was 2 years ago, move on etc, I've lost count of the amount of times you have mentioned the 5-0 whitewash

I agree, Haddin isn't that good and I don't really like him. Paine will take over soon as he is a far better keeper and batsmen than Haddin, so the sooner the better. Haddin is an ordinary keeper.

Glenn McGrath = amazing.

Regardless whether he's retired or not, he called it and did it! :o

I wish I was that good!

I mentioned it once when the bloke put that link to the 05 ashes game and was he sure he wanted to sue that as an example, and then when I said you guys are talking as if you domiated, you won 3-1 not 5-0 and wasn't referencing Australia's, I was just saying you didn't..

But we did dominate that series, how can you deny that? Apart from the day when MJ decided he could be arsed to play cricket at Perth, we were all over you. 3 victories by an Innings margin? You were destroyed mate

Still, 3 games isn't 5. You guys got dominated at Perth, but that's because that is Johnson's ground, he plays waaayyyyy better there than anywhere else in the world.
