Recent refurb
«

Found this beauty in the pavilion last night at nets and i did not recognize it being anyone at the clubs (I know i'm sad !) and I was told it was left by one of the oppo players on Saturday so I was going to leave it than I remembered who we played and seeing as they are a**holes I though i shall clean it up and see what happens
It is a GM that much i can tell by the handle not sure on the model could be an Icon or a Hero DXM (any help ?)
Going on the willow and the rebound of the mallet and ball I would say it is a 909 or 808 lovely bat anyway
Found that the tape was hiding the fact someone pulled the scuff sheet off the wrong way so it has pulled some willow up but looks cosmetic to me
Here are some before tbh it was not in a bad way to start off with but had a few seem marks (not knocked in properly i assume :@)
Will get some pics of it finished in a bit it got a bit wet when bringing it in from the shed earlier so need to sand and put a scuff sheet on it
--Edit--
It has 10 grains all a bit wobbly with heartwood on the RH inside edge loverly pick up and very light but still has a fair bit of wood about it
After

I would return it to the owner... I'd be mortified if I left my bat behind at a ground and someone took it!

Would you like it if someone did it to you?
Give it back to the person that owns it

I have to say that it should be irrelevant who you play, if I'd lost/left my bat at a ground I'd be gutted, and I'd be trying to get it back! The decent thing would be to give it back.

Got to agree I'm afraid........it's the only decent thing to do!!
To be fair whoever left it should be more careful with their baby!!!!

It will be put back in the pavillion this weekend and left but if no ones comes to pick it up then fair is fair in my mind
If no one picks it up im sure many of you would do the same thing
If the person picks it up than I have done the nice thing and cleaned it up put and new grip and scuff sheet on for them

All you need to do is send an email to the oppositions secretary and tell them someone left the bat

I have sent an email there web admin as that is the only person who has a contact on there site and I spoke to someone from my team who played them and apparently the batsman who's it is and he threw it in a bush after getting out on the boundary and it was only taken out after everyone had left as everyone forgot about it !

So other than confirming the owner is a bit of a d*ck, the bat still belongs to him them.
Nice of you to tidy it up for him though.
