Switching off.
« on: August 23, 2011, 09:23:07 PM »

As I mentioned I'm currently playing a 3 day game, as I was batting today, for an extended period I really noticed something about what I do at the non strikers end. I can't switch off, I'm always thinking intently about the game, even going through my pre-ball routine when I'm at the non-strikers end. This resulted me in getting far more mentally fatigued and having to much going on my head to worry about doing the things I need to do to succeed.

So I was wondering if anyone has any tips that they would share on how I could relax and switch off between balls?

Cheers.

Practise your golf swing. Think about the cakes at teas!

I often chat to the umpire between balls, always worth a chat and they aren't bad people to have on your side :D
