Rob Pack, Solitaire, Woodstock or Hunts?
« on: August 24, 2011, 07:41:31 AM »

Hello guys,
I have reason to believe my bat may be coming to end of a long successful career, I think throwing it near on 20 yards yesterday has killed it off.

So im looking at one of those 4 as an option, as are all relatively decent driving distances for me and all that :)

Of those I've only used Hunts, and I'm going back a few years too, but stopped using them as they seemed to break far too easily

Being a Forum Sponsor I would go with Rob Pack. I'm sure he would do a fellow forum member a good deal.

I have a lightly used Blueroom that I may sell if your interested. Save you a few £££'s on buying new.

I've only used a Solitaire out of those stated, the bat performed very well but it came over weight and didn't pick up too well.

having bought and used a Woodstock recently, I highly recommend Woodstock as the quality of the bats and service is very good. I will definitely buy a Woodstock again.

Have had all those except for woodstock.
So out if the 3 I've had, the solitaire and hunts were decent enough but the pack (blueroom) was a class above!!!
Haven't used a Woodstock but have excellent feedback from two people who have!!

Tom you are a wealth of Knowlegde, are they(Hunts) your typical Keeley pressed bats?

They press them themselves. They always feel a little hard to me.

how much cricket have you played in the last few years tom?

the county bats I have seen and used have always been pretty good...

a lot of the county bats are part made or fully made in India these days.
