Thanks for that mate - sure I can find it!!!   Moon balls - suit my bowling style but not my batting as i have a bit of a habit of smacking it into the roof!!!!!

We had our First game 3 weeks ago, Losing on the second to last ball, I retired on 27 as was on 21 when hit a 6 (On-drive into the corner 8)) then went back in as we lost a couple of quick wkts.
Patted back one ball then the bowler- a good mate went round the wkt and bowled me round my legs! Big late swing indoors if you get it right!
Another game tomorrow, really looking forward to it!

How is everyone getting on this season?

What have you learnt?

I have never played indoor cricket but have a tournament in Feb.

Having seen an indoor cricket ball, seemed almost like a hockey ball, do you use your regular bats?

I've used a bat with higher middle as the ball comes on better, helps to knock it in too!

i play two types at headingley with a hocky ball

and at tadcaster with like a yellow indoor ball bit harder than a windball..

i use normal bats for both..

one thing i have lernt is that roofs get in the way! and the none cricketing side that look like they cant hold a bat and just tap and run are usually the better teams

we have lost 4 out of 4. as a team we have bowled far too many wides. we use one of those red readers plasticy indoor balls. ones where the seam is moulded in and disappears after about 2 balls. i use my normal match bat and do a combination of the nurdle and the straight hit. hit 160 odd runs in 4 games. retired twice. still ended up losing every game! not good. luckily we do have the weaker of the teams left to play so 3 out of 4 wins and we will be safe

we did yeah, I think we were lucky to play you guys in the first game because it looked like you'd pretty much mastered it by the end of the season.
Do you think any of your guys are going Friday? And entering in January?

Played today after a short break for Christmas. Chased down 116 for the win.  3 more games to go only one win required to guarantee winning the league............and still undefeated in 12 games. Bring on next week!!!!
