Hi guys.. while looking through some old threads last night I came across this bat...

The nicest I have seen on here... Hope you don't mind me reposting your pics pete

Of course I don't mind fella - I almost have that beauty knocked in too.

Yup - I must admit that it's definitely one for the grain lovers! Straight and even with no heartwood!
Will do a mini review over Winter once I've taken it into the nets!  ;)

There was a Laver signature that was awesome. The search function doesnt work for me.

I agree the grain structure is very nice indeed but to me the Chase is overall an extremely classy piece of willow

That Laver is lovely

I really should get mine photo's up before mine get's cherried out! Gutted I didn't take any when it was born!

The Laver Sigs certainly have stunning grains! Would love to find a few willow trees like that!  ;)
People will always have different taste in what they see as perfect. I'm sure a number of you will find a bat with 25 grains, 5 of which are heartwood and see that as their perfect bat. Whereas others prefer less grains and others prefer no heartwood! Each to their own I say!  8)
