Using a Detailing Sander for bat refurb...
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:07:02 PM »

I've refurbed bats in the past with the painstaking process of sanding by hand using different grades of paper.

Just wondering if anyone uses detail sanders for the initial rough process which includes removing any glue left by the protective facing.

I guess my worry is ruining the stickers but I guess I could always just replace.

I have one of these, you are better off with a circular sander which you can fit a buffing fitting too.
