Ok, retiring this autumn we have

Dominic Cork
Ali Brown
Mark Chilton

Please add in any more players I have missed and your best memory of any of them

For me, forget his bowling, the determination of Dominic Cork's batting was something I really always enjoyed.
Ali Brown is one of my all time favourite players - and a highlight was seeing him in a 2020 game a Lords smash the ball into the top tear of the mound stand. twice.
Mark Chilton is retiring having won the pennant, what a way to retire!!

Was lucky enough to see three amazing Brown innings - two were at Scarborough in my youth, when he just destroyed some decent Yorkshire bowling, but the best was his double ton - in a one dayer, no less - at the Oval about seven, eight seasons ago.  Yes, the boundaries were tiny but damn he gave it a whack!

There was also the double ton at guildford to remember - prior to the game he said to Mark Nicholas who was commentating - i'm feeling good today, put a fiver on me scoring a few...! Now guildford has a flat pitch and small boundaries, but still it was the first 200 in an one day game. And then there was the second at the oval in the amazing game against glamorgan which you must have seen 268 runs... marvellous. Robert Croft scored a rapid ton in reply I think.

Croft and Hemp both.  Also remember Ian Ward got out on about 95 and looked well steaming when he walked off.

I seem to remember Cork chasing round the boundary when playing for England but not being quick enough to stop it. However his momentum took him past the rope and he ran up some stairs into a room. He then appeared seconds later with a pint in his hand. Classic Cork!!

I'm sure I didn't dream or make that up!

Paul Nixon needs to be added to the list, it is a real shame as he is a very good cricketer and a brilliant role model(You would never see him involved in a pedalo incident  ;) )
