I play for F&B.

Sports Direct at Deepdale has an alright selection. Lots of cheap Gray nics

Took this down to the nets last night for a proper good session. 20 mins against all sorts. What can I say but Wow! It has a very, very good middle that rebounds exceptionally and is suitably large. Okay it weighs 2lb12oz, but that's a weight that I am still comfortable at. It really goes! The sports direct website has the Elite version of this up on their website for £90 (http://www.sportsdirect.com/slazenger-v3-elite-cricket-bat-859249) and if you like decent bats with mid-low, long middles, these are an excellent choice. For a brand that has been consigned to the bargain bins by most people, there are still some stonkers in their range! Forget the chiselled toe. Good bats, it's just a pity that they are no longer part of the standard range!

Well worth a punt I'd suggest, especially if you use the McCoys discount code!

I hope you're joking lol. The original v500 I think he's referring to is about 15 years old.

I have seen this bat, and I have used this bat. It's got a lovely chunky profile, and the few I hit with it, certainly stayed hit.

I have to reluctantly admit that Slaz's are growing on me!
