which facemask do you use? an aero one?

As long as it's not that GN one - we played against someone who had one of them, the stick he got... (from his own teammates)

Thought I'd resurrect this topic following an incident at nets the other night. One of our guys was in the slowish net, and had decided not to bother with his helmet because it was, after all, slowish.

He misjudged the bounce of one of the balls and I'm not sure whether the top edge was involved or not, but it hit him in the top lip. Off to A&E and a couple of stitches....

The moral being, if you've got a helmet, wear it. Pace of the bowling really isn't important!

I know just what was going through toms head, "hmm, no helmet, there's some money to be made here"!

Played in a game with Tom where the batsman was hit by a beamer from a fairly sharp bowler. Tom came up to me and said something along the lines of 'potential customer'
