weight reduction

Playing around with my old gm hero to reduce weight and improve pick up..what do you guys think, future podshaver perhaps? lol

seriosuly though i seem to remember a fusion that had a line of holes drilled in the back? (obviosuly neatly, equally spaced and only a unform line of each side haha!) was it one of tomgoose's fusions?? or his brothers?? i am sure it was a fusion (sorry if it wasnt yours tom!)

thats a very interesting concept of weigh reduction. i reckon that must have taken a fair bit out. not sure its gonna do much for the life of the bat especially the toe area.  hows the balance now? lol

its was a 2lb 9oz before with the old hero shape. Pick up was not good. havent weighed it, but it picks up like a dream now, plus I havent really noticed much difference in the middle. This is my net bat. I has inially wanted to make 2 long grooves either side of the bat, hence the pencil lines, but I found this too hard to get right with the drill bits I had

i reckon 3oz maybe pushing 4. there are a lot of holes there

1 0z off 2lb 8oz now...abit surprised, thought it would have been about 2lb 7oz

1 oz?is that it? how deep are the holes? you could have sanded 1oz off in the time it took u to mark it up and drill everything lol
