Picked this up off eBay at the weekend for what I think is a steal, was a last minute decision though as it caught my eye as the auction was ending - Solitaire bat in a Mongoose Cor3 style. 2" longer handle than a standard SH. Don't know how common these are, but it's the first Solitaire I have seen in this style.
Was listed as new and unused and that appears to be the case as it is immaculate. 10 grains - I am assuming G1 willow as with other Solitaires and a lot of wood in the blade. Listed as 2.12 but on my scales is 2.15 which may not be that accurate or it may be the case that 2.12 was specified and has come out a few ounces heavier from Roger.
Having said that it picks-up superbly well. It's no wand by any stretch of the imagination but I normally use a 2.10 and would say it picks-up close to the 2.11 mark. It feels well balanced although the finish is a little rough in places. It doesn't feel fully knocked in but it is very responsive with a mallet and rebounding a ball on the face.
