Big Ups To Arvind
« on: November 04, 2011, 09:05:57 PM »

Just thought I'd leave a testimonial to Aswani.

Bought a catching bat and some Asics spikes this week. His response was swift and helpful everytime. I got the goods at a very competitive price and I paid late on Weds night and received the goods this morning.

I commend this fine upstanding man to you all, and encourage you all to buy from him, to make his forum sponsorship worthwhile.

Seconded. I ordered from Arvind a few months ago asking about grips, got several options from him and a few days later I received many grips for a good price!

We're quick enough to moan about suppliers on this forum, I think we should blow smoke up their asses when they get it right!

I can also say that Arvind offers excellent service. Won a Puma ballistic 6000 on ebay for £102 which I am over the moon with. Didnt really mean to win it as I put a bid on and didnt think it would win

Brought this bat. I really like the traditional shape to it. No concaving and small edges.

Does anyone know what the injected foam handle does for a bat?

Oh, forgot to mention I got those Newbery pads on eBay and Aswani even contacted me to check what size and dexterity pads I wanted (I forgot to mention) and they also said there would be a slight delay due to staff illness. Brilliant customer service.

Believe these may have been made by the Keeley brothers by contract. The handle was like the C6.

What a steal for 102 quid, nice one fella. That was hugely popular and the Ballistic 6000 I used was a very powerful bat, forget about the slim edges and just smash it.

I prefer using a bat with small edges because it is the middle of the bat that I use to score runs, not the edges. It will be next april before I get to use it so I am holding off a review till then

Thank you gentlemen, your positive feedback is much appreciated by all at Aswani :)

John - the carbon core handle is supposed to give make the bat lighter overall.  I believe it is the same (or similar) C6+ newbery handle.  You will notice there is no splice, as in traditional cane handles, the handle is fitted into a drilled hole at the top of the bat face.

Just bought an inner thigh guard from Aswani (via ebay) (Puma one)  so good to hear all the positive feedback. Might have to go back for the matching outer thigh if it's nice!!
