here is a little sneak preview of mine on the scales (with my slightly odd - and heavy grip set up...!)

It's rather nice, but I haven't yet had the chance to test it with a mallet. The best feedback I can give is that it picks up well and probably weighs around 2lb10oz. Ohe, and it's a more traditional shape, so has plenty of wood where it's needed!
