You gonna reveal the brand or keep us hanging? Thought you were a VS man now?

Ambi pads are good for brands as it saves them having to order left and right handed pads and saves having all those left handed pads left at the end of the season... That's the only benefit I can see.... That's my understanding anyway

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Ambi pads give more protection though don't they? My concern with ambi pads would be getting my bat stuck in them, or tripping when I run
Neither of these are problems I have ever experienced...

Very useful for a team kit bag; saves having to worry about rh / lh pads

I think ambis will become more popular for this very reason.  BoomBoom, for example, only produce ambi pads, as you can see here:

Traditionally, ambi pads have been more popular with juniors and they are arguably less pleasing to the eye, but there's negligible difference in terms of protection and comfort.

I was just about to order something from online stockists as well... my concern has always been not getting what I've ordered - i.e. what the pictures show... so perhaps I will give it a miss and pay a little more for uk based companies...
