Ambidextrous batting pads

What are peoples views and thoughts on these and if you have used them what did you think???

I find it makes pretty much no difference. My hunts county triumph pads are ambi.

I used to think that only crappy cheap pads were ambi, so they def have a bit of a stigma, but in fact, you can get top end pads in ambi too. Aren't SRT's pads an ambi model?

...we should probably have included a disclaimer about being bevvied up! (we could have said please don't post under the influence, but our footfall would probably decrease significantly!)

Seriously though, the code of conduct isn't there to bash people for the odd typo, but we do encourage people to try and post in 'good' english

I get concerned about being hit in the calf, but that has never happened.

Ambi pads give more protection though don't they? My concern with ambi pads would be getting my bat stuck in them, or tripping when I run
