T20 Bats...

Thinking of adding a t20 'Stick on a brick' bat to the collection, does anyone have any experience with the following, or know of any other makers I'm missing off? I have at the moment got 3, all with things going for them, though really intrested in other peoples views...

Mongoose Mmi3 - The original, and assumed spent most on R&D etc to maximise potential in the model (as opposed to other manufactures that just make a bat with huge handle and shirt blade etc)

Black Cat Joker - As described in the AOC gear guide as "The Mongoose, but done well" (or words to that effect)

Laver & Wood Bruiser - It's Laver and Wood! (Plus they'll knock it in for me, which is a big bonus!)

Bulldog do a t20 spirit.

Had a mmi3, good fun but it's hard to get out of slogging mode with them.

I have a laver s/r ultra, 1" shorter blade, 1" longer handle. 49mm edges. May sell at cost price if your interested. It is 3oz heavier than I asked for. Weighs 2-11, knocked in, brand new.

Hi Dan - I've got the joker and mmi.
They are both great fun to be honest!! I think it's down to personal choice....but the joker gets the thumbs up for me.
But these bats are great fun and I'm sure whatever you pick will be excellent.  ;)

its 100% same as the joker apart from stickers and a hell of alot cheaper

Having read the Joker is thinner than a normal blade, I might be ruthless and remove that from my list of potentials. Not quite sure I can understand the logic in that tbh.

Isn't the bulldog Spirit20 a half-way house? Like a CoR? Tbh I'm not going to go for one of those - great bats I'm sure, though I'm after one as a bit of a, dare I say, toy/novelty so these are a bit too similar to my normal SH's.

Cheers for all the input so far, and apologies if this is re-hashing old topics, though hopefully is is a common/succint questiont hat we could do with having all the info in one place!

The logic on the joker is the same as that on the mongoose. Change the dimensions of the blade to give you more concentrated power. Hence the blade is slightly narrower. Not really any different to the blade not being as long.

Mongoose have changed the CoR3 for this year, 2" shorter with a very low middle going right through the toe.

willostix have a bat called the big stick is another option, although i have never used one or seen one in use!
