Batoff II - Bola's Revenge
« on: December 03, 2011, 12:26:26 AM »

Hello all, I hosted another session today with a further very pleasant selection of willow available to touch, smell, and if necessary kiss (will, with Canners and his girlfriend present I thought it was only fair that I offer my wand to her for a quick fiddle and maybe a brush with her lips).

Mr Hosk brought a selection of his Legendary bat collection with him and I had a few other new bats to get my hands on. There will be a few videos and the all important scoring in due course, but for now, here's what we had to play with...

a great selection, and i look forward to the scores and reviews.
Just looking at that nice looking PUMA, which guess is a miilechamp and Hall Puma. I guess that is a few years old and if so would have lost a fair bit of moisture.
Perhaps the age of bat should be mentioned when reviewing it's performance.
Nerdy, but relevant for fair comparison

I think you'll find (if it's the one I'm thinking of) that the Puma is a H4L Hattorri stickered up as a Puma.

Canners forbid us from taking pics of her following the reaction to her last time..

If that's the bat I think it is then you couldn't be more wrong! It is one of the most desirable bats in the entire Hosk collection! It is a stunning piece of wood........ ;) It taps up better than most any bat I've ever owned....I like it so much I got it copied....
