Is that even possible for gloves?

I really like the Powerbow Test gloves Manormanic is selling because of

A lad at my club had his palm chewed by his dog, his Mum replaced the chewed bit with some leather, and they've held up all season. I think if you know someone who is good with the sewing machine/hand stitching then it is possible to some extent
