Chase R11 Batting Pads
« on: December 30, 2011, 12:49:16 PM »

Anyone got a pair of these yet?

Like the look of them, just wondered if anyone had any opinions or knew a good place to get them from?

Cheers

He did get the R11 pads and they look superb!
He used them in the nets and they are (according to Luke) fantastically comfortable and light. But I did blast a few balls from the bola machine at his pads at 85-90mph, and he barely felt them! A naughty way of testing them as I didn't tell him to expect it!!  ;) But great just the same!!

Roco is right, I bought some the other day when I got my bat from Dan.

Really good quality, surprisingly light, the lightest I have used other than the Hosk's Morrant's. Excellent protection and comfortable. They sit nice and low which I think looks pretty cool too... :D I took a couple of 85+mph bola balls square on at the nets the other night (Cheers Pete!) and the protection was excellent. Pads are very personal things though, so try some on first but I love them.

Quality wise, up there with the best...

Pics:-

According to Dan these pads are manufactured 'flat' so I tied them up and left them for a week to get them to curve around my leg nicely. It worked really well...

Best place to get them from is direct! Say Me and Pete sent you!  :D

I am desperately fighting the urge to buy some on Wednesday when I see Dan again. I've tried a pair on and they are lovely. Really comfy, good size and, again, look the business. I think Pete has got some pics of the softs and he is going to post at some point in the other thread but if he doesn't I'll get some shots in the week....I have to get the keeping gloves photographed for Johan!

Call Dan at Dummer. He can send them out to you or you can go down there and pick them out and have a little snoop about!
