Both our grills are made from 4mm thick bars as its just the material that varies as both are made on the same tool.

Cheers, that's quite interesting, I'd assumed the Ti grilles would be thinner as they were made from stronger material.


I guess if this is common with other manufacturers then steel may be the way to go for me as it'll offer enough protection and only a bit of a weight difference.

I don't find much of a difference in Steel or Titanium grill and this is based on weight (have never gotten a chance to test out the protection).
