I have and have used them for a while, they are very good gloves for the price tag they carry. They are comfortable and have got brilliant protection and they are quite light too!

I'd recommend them to you (assuming you are getting a good deal as you said)

Ihsan gloves are certainly worth a go, considering them a number of players not sponsored them have used em (afridi, Pollard) speaks volumes of the quality.

They have Indian Pittards.

the are piitardsisque leather palms. Pittards to my knowledge is a brand and the texture of the gloves is basically achieved via some process. To my knowledge the textured palms are made locally, you need a few hundred pairs as a minimum to get it done though.

Seems my experience has been the complete opposite to others... Bought these recently on the basis that they're Ishans top range gloves and task sports on eBay are selling them for middle of the road money...

They're certainly light and the protection seems pretty good, however they don't 'look' to be that well put together or with the use of quality materials... But the worst aspect is comfort. Although regular men's size they're very tight and the cupping for the thumb protection is really uncomfortable...

So despite having bought them as a second pair of gloves to use in practice, they'll more than likely be going back.

I can't believe people still trot out such crap, god knows how many times I've typed it on here. Pittards leather involves water resistant and ceramic proofing of the leather, they also cut a variety of patterns into the leather. What you get is people copying the pattern and nothing more but claiming it is the same. Every time I see it I see someone looking for a cheap trick.
