GM Flare Original
« on: January 05, 2012, 01:05:03 PM »

Got this as a replacement for my KD bat that split up the toe. Weighs in at 2lb8.1oz's without a scuff sheet, feels nice in my hands and has 12 nice grains with a bit of heartwood on the outside edge. Look forward to knocking it in and getting it out to the middle.

This is also the one they do that doesn't have GM Now or Toe-tek, it simply has the GM DriGuard. So gotta knock it in fully, which is fine by me.

Nice stick Langer, love the flare, awsome for our conditions, looks a good size for 2.8 as well.

Thanks fellas.

awp - It is indeed a solid size for a 2'8, with 29/30mm edges, which surprised me as it looked like one of the smallest edged bats in the shop. I also like how it has no concaving, so I should get good value for shots hit off centre.
