My new hattori.

I had been thinking of getting a hattori for a while when i saw this come up for sale on Monday. I jumped at the price it was going for and bought it. It arrived this morning and after quickly opening it i am astounded, the pictures do not do it justice. It isn't the most prettiest thing in the world but I'm not bothered by that. It has 7 grains (2 hidden by edge tape) and a scuff sheet applied. Another thing that attracted me were the small edges and high spine. I'm not bothered by the size of the edges but these are lovely. The woods very responsive although now where near knocked in, and weighs in at 2.10 1/2.
Overall very happy and can't wait to use it, cheers matt!

Looks lush! Liking the profile!
I traded with Simmy for one of his Hattori and Pedals and I had a little bat with it last night - and it went very well indeed!!!
It was nice to know that it's not just the heavier ones that perform....but the 2'9's also travel!  8)

yer it had a fantastic middle that one pete glad u like it :D ps its not really knocked in either

i smashed it with a mallet for half hour then used it in two games..

but i tend to find with mats bats they dont need knocking in that well they are pressed to perfection

Thanks, yeah it's pretty responsive already just needs to be knocked in and cant wait to use it! almost certainly going to be my match bat next season  :D
