Does anyone own one of these? If so can you tell me the sweet spot on this model.

Mid-low. Though the whole blade really scores from the central spine area

My M&H Custom is quite similar to the older (nicer) distinction but possibly more extreme spine!
And again, the middle may be mid-low but there is an argument for the length of the blade being the sweet spot!!

I've got a very similar bat to what Simmy had, and again... Its harder to find part of the bat that isn't the 'sweet-spot!'

I managed to track down one with the old shape (and with the toe in perfect condition!)

About to send it for a full refurb and resticker so will post compare and contrast pics of the different versions!

They would not make the old shape as they had quite a few issues with the toe on those bats and hence decided to change the shape to make the toe more chunkier & stronger.

Irrespective of the shape, these are amazing bats.

So if you asked for the old shape they would refuse to make it?

Unless you as for a bespoke bat and are prepared to pay almost twice the price. (But I am sure they will advise you correctly about any issues with the shape and let you take the final call)

But if you want the stock Distinction, then possibly not

CD there is a massive diff in the position of the sweet spot on the Amplus and Distinction. However, both bats have a really long middle so finding the true sweet spot will be a tough job.

Just received my old shape Dist, and took this pretty rubbish quick photo to show the difference.

I'd say the middle in the New Distinction feels more uniform throughout the blade, though the 4 square inches on the face at the peak of the spine behind it is probably the most powerful sweet spot in cricket. Proper lost ball territory :D

I love the old shape distinctions. I know the newer ones last better...

which one do you prefer?
