Your ever so kind Tom I guess big bats help with the lack of ability but I'll take it

I have to agree not many about can handle decent pace with a big bat as I know lads my size that use 2lb10 as any heavier they are late so it's a funny old game

out of curiousity - to compensate, I tend to use a very short backlift and punch through the ball with the bottom hand - you?

I tend to lift bat up earlier and seems to give me more time

Was that when you were swearing at me that there is an offside and to stop sweeping Tom?

Tim the blocker yeah he can't play spin for toffee so has the 1 shot but he did do a reverse sweep last game of season which shocked us more than the bowler

No one trusts your pro as he is a blatant cheat

not really - most of us are a) bat geeks and b) play seriously.  Over 80% of the players in this country and not in category a) and many of those barely fall in category b - and if you look at the average Sunday side where none of them have to face anyone of any pace, they tend to go for 3lb biffers!

Disagree a bit on this. My Sunday guys don't go anywhere near 2'12 or above and most will have a play with the pickup before borrowing a bat. 9 times out of 10 they go for the light stick. They aren't great cricketers by any means but in my opinion broadly similar to an average Sunday team, perhaps a bit younger than most (avg age mid 20's?).

I have bought a 2.8lb first off from an up and coming new cricket company  :D, will see how it goes but might go up to a 2.9 for a 2nd bat.

Well different opinions I just don't know anybody that likes him as there's not walking and what he does but that's his method so fair enough

It's not him that's the cheat, I personally don't walk so does that make me a cheat? lol

It's not his fault out umpire doesn't give him out :/
