You don't have to argue with your bat though.

Completely agree with you. So spending on the GM Players Edition bats is better :)

I would rather buy 3xcarefully chosen GM 808 bats and have £50 left over!!!
Pick 3 carefully chosen 808 bats from the right place with the right discount code and have £100 left over...

Only GM can confirm that.

If I have understood correctly the players edition bats are made to the exact specs of the sponsored players and I think it was mentioned somewhere that if any of these sponsored players walked in for a bat then they would be happy picking one from the lots made for the retailers.

They are made to the exact shape, not weight. That's why some are weighted upto 2-15!

All GM bats are made to a CNC path on their machines. Therefore all bats have the same dimensions but their weights differ.

If you get one at a low weight you might of done well. If they are like the ones on mapperly sports GM have done well.

If you don't like them, then stick them up here for sale. I am sure they will sell in a flash for the "right" price :)

Not really purchased any of these bats, are just too expensive. As much as I do love the profile of the Watson Flare.

Am going to come in on this one here, would I pay £400 pound for it when you consider the price of the kook player bats and GN  legend etc the answer is a definite yes!!!! IF I am going to buy a bat for £400 I definitely want it made in England and I like GM especially there customer service which we have found has always been superb I have found personally. Is it a superb bat with what feels like to me a perfect balance and feel? I would say yeah and i would say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I sure as hell am going to try and lever it out of my mates hands in the nets this weekend to give a try and i will let you all know how it feels!!!!

What I would like to know is whether it is £200 better than a TK 'pro cleft' bat....If it is then it's probably worth it but somehow I just can't see it.... ;)

Well I got this bat in the nets this afternoon with the bowling machine and an auto feeder feeding me away for an hour or two.  First impressions my mate had weighed it wrong it just felt too light so as soon as I got it home I weighed it and as i suspected its true weight of 2.7Lb came up on the digital scales. In the hands it felt even lighter like a harrow bat. Have to say I have never seen or held such a big bat that weighs so little kinda makes it very special indeed.!!!!!!! And it went like a train big time and probably is worth the money they asked for if you can afford it!!!!!
