have an Amazon voucher and wondered if this was the genuine sidearm or a ripoff. Also, the reviews aren't great! What do you guys think?

well if the image and maker are correct.

thats what they look like and the "by frank thorogood" is correct too :)

and the product description is similar to sidearms elsewhere, this is of course under the presumption they are selling accurate to what they've put up, but there is no reason why they wouldnt!

anyway honest is the best policy!!

Have been thinking about getting one for a while! Just trying to make best use of my voucher, doing my nut in! Wonder if many of the test teams/pro's use the sidearm?

a few county matches i've seen they've all ben using them. there were several photos of india and i think england using them and i am sure other nations do too.

Used mine I got of Sam a couple of times. Wrapped our opening bowler on the gloves and pads :p and simmy says it comes out quick lol haven't had a net against it myself though. Deffo worth the money

They definitely take a bit of practice. I've had mine for about a month and I am still throwing the occasional 70+ mph beamer! It's weird, I get into a groove with it and all goes well and I can stick it pretty much where I want (odd beamer excepted) but the when I go back the next week I have to learn how to do it all over again. A really good training aid though and far, far better than a bowling machine.
