Heard about this , but nnot seen it done before does it work if you have grips already on there? Good to keep up in the locker, I'm always putting grips on with out a cone, kill you bloody thumbs, lucky i got hands like spades.

You have to do it with thin plastic bags (asda, tesco, not ocado) or it's effectively impossible. It's really hard to get it on if there's already a grip on.

I've never used a grip cone, only ever plastic bags.

I used this method recently for the first time when I couldn't find my gripping cone.  It is a little fiddly, but guarantees a good finish.

Suction vaccum pump - suck, suck, suck - farty-noise - pop!  3 seconds and you're done.

Typical Saturday night for me really.

Grip applicator for some reason didn't work, 3 asda plastic bags (they just don't make plastic bags to the quality they used to) lol.
So I cut the by now rolled up grip off and resorted to swearing at the inanimate object and the wife when she asked "having trouble"
Tried lubricating the grip with fairy liquid and it slipped on nicely and as long as I don't use the bat in the rain I should be ok.
The bloke on you tube made it look so easy for me it wasn't, ah well there's mor than one way to skin a rabbit (or put a bat grip on)

the bloke on YouTube made it look easy because he was using a junior bat with a thin handle.

learn to use a cone or pick up a vacuum one.
