Not necessarily, but they certainly have a higher chance of breaking and come with no guarantee. That said, you might get longer than you think.

Good chance to sample an M&H to see how good they are without forking out BIG money

I might have been tempted to buy one, but just tied up all my available cricket equipment cash in an order for S&J :(

1st time ive seen M and H selling these off....

had some storm damaged Newbery's in the past, one i had for a while, one split right in half and 2 games.I was acually holding one half of the bat in my hand while the bowler killed himself laughing!!!

you can get a bargain but tread carefully would be my advice.....all that glitters price wise aint gold sometimes!!!!

Millichamp are great bats, ive had 4 and all have been great except 1 which was a stunning harlequin in 2.8 it had 16 straight grains and possibly the best looking bat ive owned, it snapped clean in half after letting my brother use it in a game, wasnt his fault it was storm damaged and snapped horizontally just under the splice.....

after the great storm in 1987, loads of bats broke in the following 2 years. Most snapped in half and the reason was storm damaged willow had been used in mass production. I'd steer clear of these pieces of wood, you'll lucky to see a dozen games from them.

Sent my pair of lightly used M&H distinction MRH pads back at the start of the season due to the stitching coming lose, they sent me a new pair so I have a sneaky feeling that those £35 Distinction pads are the ones I sent back..Might buy them and see if they are the same ones...

Thanks for the link btw.

EDIT: Anybody have any experience of their Double Decker bags? They look quite good and for 30 off quid you can't really go wrong..

I would second that but it'd be more like eighthing it or some such.  M&H have always been guilty of over egging the price point pudding in my humble opinion, and this is another example - at half these prices, you might be talking about a worthwhile risk, but even then I wouldn't recommend it to someone who couldn't afford to get stung.

Was tempted by the 'half price' duffle as £15 sounds very good for a M&H one. But who knows how bad they are marked!!
And Amazon have unmarked ones for £20.
