Well the results of the test are out....

And will be appearing here shortly...!

But just to make it clear - the Stig was even forced to test an Ayrtek today, much to his chagrin!

Gentlemen, and ladies if there are any, please find below the results of the BatOff...

As an indication, the scoring was done utilising the "Ping Multiplier Method". The branding and style of the bat, the Pick-Up, Rebound/Performance and Willow are all rated out of 10. The price is value comes from £100 or less scoring 10 points, then for each £25 segment, the points drop by one, e.g. £101-£125 = 9 points, £126-£150 = 8 points.

We then add up the Looks, Pick-Up, Willow and Price and multiply them by the Ping score divided by ten, giving a value out of 40. This provides a decent reflection of the true performance of the bat when everything else is taken into account and stops nice looking, poor performing bats scoring well...
