As the title says, out of both which one do you like the most?

Traditional for me. Have tried some modern ones but they just don't feel right to me.

Loved my modern Ayrtek pads. Don't like cane pads, too heavy with exception to the GN Legends.

Not fussed either way, as long as they fit properly and protect me then I'm happy. I loved my traditional style GN Legend pads, loved my moulded pads (SS) and currently love my Chase R11's.....

The only modern/lightweight pads I've had are ayrteks. Very good just never used them as I also had the elite softs which are top notch. For me it just has to be a traditional cane pad with horizontal knee bolster. I wear my pads very low and just find the traditional much more comfortable

The only pads that I find really good in modern are Puma FXT ones.

I used few others brands modern style pads (such as Mongoose Super Premium, Boom Boom Signature 175 (just wore them around) and few others) and for some reason they just don't feel right. They are not bulky or anything but they just don't go well for me.

So for me traditional work better for some reason.

Traditional for me good quality top hat which wrap around the knee well.

Love the wrap around feel of traditional pads but not the weight.Modern moulded pads I have is bulky but light.

What's the difference between Modern and Traditional? Just how the pad is shaped and the canes?

Personally I'm a traditional fan too, though always nice to sometimes have the odd modern twist!

I have tried a few Modern and a few traditional pads and have really taken a liking to Kookaburra pads. Some of the traditional pads are too bulky and the modern pads don't feel too good.

as much pintucking as possible, give me a set of Kook J.b.Hobbs's anyday or a pair of Gray's test openers ... failing that the SS limited editions and their sibling the Newbery SPS's are flippng awesome.  But then for the record i'd still have one day cricket and T20's played in "whites" ... whoever thought that dressing 22 professional sportsmen in clothes a 10 year old would be embarassed to wear to bed would be a good idea?
