Isn't warners a shorter blade? and if it is shorter blade and toe cut out then the bat makers can transfer that wood to the rest of the bat making is bigger but keeping the weight in check...i haven't seen the video so just guessing.

Warner has been using bats with a standard rounded toe for the whole summer, so no more square toe for him. Dunno why he changed though, he probably just wanted something different, and it has been working for him so a good change.

My mates dad works for wolfblass wine and when australia where over here last yeard for the test series he went to the australian team hotel as a part of meet and greet and he became quite friendly with david warner and he said my mates in county and all that shizzle and then warner said at the end of the series he would leave him a bat and he came through on that promise and let me tell you his bat has a very thing handle short blade but a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee middle we have used it in the nets a number of times and it just pings like a god :) if interested will put pictures up :)
