GM RSB pads
« on: February 15, 2012, 04:09:03 PM »

Has anyone used the GM RSB pads? I seem to have started collecting GM kit and quite like the sound of these so just wondering if they're any good.

Any good offers on these at the moment, barrington have osm sized one for about £60 at the moment which I'd probably be able to get away with as I'm 6'3.

Thanks

Same as the blank bats ones among others.

It's looking at the blank bats pads that has made me think about the rsb's.

I did buy some morrants a bit ago as I was tempted by some good lightweight pads but when they arrived they were a bit battered so I sent them back for a refund.

As with most pads I'm sure there are a few makes that are practically the same and probably even made in the same factory. If anyone can recommend any pads like GM RSB's/blank bats by other brands I'd be interested to take a look.

I'd never used GM gear until recently, got one of their bags which was ok but it's the GM LE original gloves that I got cheap off sports direct that have really impressed me. Felt a bit tight when just trying them on but I've worn them in two nets now and they're really good. Hence bring quite keen to try their other stuff too.

GM stuff is generally quality kit, like the bats but the profiles are a bit conservative for me.

After being on here I don't think I'd ever buy a bat from one of the big brands again, I'd much prefer to buy from redback or similar. For other gear happy to still buy from the big brands especially as they often have good offers.

Those SG pads look good and identical to the GM's but I'm a bit wary of ordering from online stockist given mixed reviews and also how much postage would be - but if any uk retailer had them I'd buy them.
