new T20 ton record.
« on: February 19, 2012, 08:37:31 AM »

Richard Levi just hit the quickest T20 ton and hit 12 6s to get him there. Small boundries but still a great knock. Great to watch  :D

Let's hope he can kick on and secure a place in the sa team. Its time SA started to replace some of the old gaurd.

His hundred came in 45 balls. He finished on 117* off 51 with five 4's and thirteen 6's.

Just seen a few highlights on youtube and he hit the ball very well.No a big ground but it was still a great knock.

Great knock from Levi but most of them 6s would have been 4s on most grounds.

Played perfectly given the conditions. Marked out which boundaries to target then biff baff boff!

Next game I think the kiwi bowlers will be looking to keep him playing on the off side as he did not look to clever on the off.

You say that, but he fetched some balls from outside off and club them over the leg side for a six! With pure ease too!

brilliant as it is to watch it does beg the question about whether boundaries should be a minimum distance and whether bat weights ought to be restricted. The amount of wood on a pro's bat, even at relatively modest weights, does give them a huge advantage when targetting a 60m boundary.

There are minimum boundary requirements though...
