Who's got the better kit and has anyone used both of these and can give an opinion?

Neither will help if you keep playing and missing though  :D

I think with the state Vantage is in at this moment, Woodstock might be a better option. Wilkie got a new Woodstock-- PM him and he should be able to let you know his experience.

I have a pair of vantage pads which are really really nice and I also have a pair of woodstock curve gloves which for the money are really really nice. The pads I bought from S&J cricket on here and the gloves came from woodstock. Both parties provided fantastic service. which ever you go for you will be more than happy with. That said I think I will be investing in SAF  :D

I also have vantage pads!
My bat is very very good for the money, it's only the grade two or 'Gold' version but it responds very well off the mallet, I am yet to use it in a net or match, but nets start for me on Monday so hopefully there will be no one there with bat breakers and I can give her it's first outing :D

Woodstock Tour de Force apparently rated very highly in the Wisden Good Gear Guide, if not top.

Ok thanks lads, made things alot more clear! The Woodstock gear looks really good and i've seen a few videos where their bats have been used and they sound lovely and looks to be coming off really good! I also like the look of their softs as well, very classy.

The only reason I'm called played and missed is because the username CoverDrive, StraightDrive and Hit46 are all taken:)
Anyone else with reviews feel free to give your opinions!

Hi P&M! I have a couple of Vantage bats (pre Dan's departure) and they are decent sticks for sure! But can't comment on current bats from Vantage as I haven't seen any?
I do have the bargain Vantage pads from Peplow which were pure value!

From a Woodstock point of view, I have a couple of Woodstock TDF bats which are top notch and superb!!
Do not have their softs but from what I have been told, the Woodstock softs should be Newbery type quality?

A bloke hit 131 against us on the weekend in the full 2011 Woodstock kit. The whole kit looked bloody good, although would have liked him to get less runs, lol.

I think the Woodstock gloves are some of the very best out there, extremely good quality. I can't comment on the pads as I don't have them though. Would recommend the gloves to anyone

Thanks Junter97.
I've noticed on their 2012 pads that at the back in the center, they have black arrows going up and down.. reminds me alot like GM. I think I will be purchasing their kit within the next few weeks, by going on what everyone are saying about it!

I have a Woodstock Curve Platinum XL bat custom made for the previous owner who rated it over a GN Legend that he was selling at the same time. The profile is the biggest of all the bats i have and i'm waiting for our nets season to start here but will certainly post a review afters. It picks up well but ultimately may be a tad heavy for me.
The softs look great and are great value but I haven't invested in any yet.
The black stickers on the bat are subtle and classy so it looks the business too.
I believe their roots hark back to Salix and Newbery so a good heritage too....I think that's right.....

I'm looking to get a Curve Bespoke. Not really fussy on the TDF, with the big edges and massive profiles, never really been interested.
