Met both Ravi and Monty today at an opening for a chicken shop in tooting yes another chicken shop in South London

He confirmed he was using SS and will be sponsored by them

SS would be a surprise to me as i know he likes their bats and HAS used them in the past.

I did get some stick from some on here when i said that he used 'asian' bats which were not GM.

Has SS got alot of money to throw about for an 'English' sponsored player? I mean, will people in the Uk go out and buy a SS bat because Ravinder Bopara uses one?

I mean that it is different from using and liking a bat, but being sponsored by a brand is different. If SS have the money to put into him using their bats or other kit, then good luck to them, but it wont be cheap.
I cannot see people going out buy SS stuff because he uses it.
