Looks brilliant bro! Happy for you that you got it as you wanted one for a while :D I hope it serves you extremely well!

Out of curiosity why 1/2 shorter blade? :S

Joe because it is best all round bat, picks up well and has long middle but will make you happy and buy a Non-Series 1 soon! :D

Thanks Uzair, it is mainly due to my height and also I was keen on the dead weight not to go beyond 2.10 and was still keen to have lot of meat, after some discussions with Julian I reached to this spec.

Would say that any custom made bat is a trend setter here :)..

I think there are some who have bought other shapes, some also some have experimented with the cross of two series. You can search in this forum to get some reviews on  them as well.
In the end is a personal preference on the shape one wants.
I chose it because of the balance it provides as there is a lot of wood from the toe till the splice of the bat. I hope it will enable me to play equally well both on front foot and back foot.

A general question regarding oiling...
I have always used raw linseed oil, does salix wax can  be used as a substitute for  linseed oil ?
I have ordered one recently...

When I went in to his workshop, they were all similar shapes but the middles were obviously just in slightly different spots and they were slightly different sizes (middle, edges). He has added 2 more base shapes since then though.
