When I ask my coach about it what should I say, it may need to be a text if I want to do it soon

It may be that your club secretary is actually the best person to go through. All of the county correspondence for my club goes through me as secretary and that includes nomination forms for county trials

You get a district trial, then if they think you're good enough you'll get a county trial then if they think your good enough you'll get in. If you haven't got a district trial then unless you're really, really good or know a coach well then you are scuppered.
