Don't think they will differ much from 2011 softs except design.

They are already amazing and if 2012 have better comfort level etc then I'm not sure how "better" they are or can become to be honest as 2011 ones were stunning!

New Test Light look a nice set of pads. Not overly keen on the rest of the range to be honest. Do like their sausage finger gloves.

the matrix are 99% the same as last year's ones that come out of India, the stuff that comes from Ajit is not the same stuff that comes from Asad ... different markets

I've got some 2011 test opener that I had from Aswani Cricket, quality pads and dead comfy. Lorimer Sports appear to be doing a good range of 2012 SS pads including the Gladiator.
They're on his ebay site, I've had some quality kit of them lately

Noticed you were browsing online stockists, just be mindfull of smaller sizes and returns are virtually non exsistant (although you'll always find someone on here with KAS to buy them from you, lol)

I really want to buy some keeping gloves from online stockist but, don't know whether to risk it as people on the past have said they got the wrong gloves

Hi Mate,

I got the Gladiator pads and SS Super Test New 2012 Version Cricket Batting Gloves from Onlinestockist recently. The pads are great ( The look may not be for everyone but they are superlight). Very comfortable gloves as well. The ordering and response from Ajith was fine but the delivery was a nightmare. In fairness it was not Ajiths fault it was the delivery company Jetline express he used in London. That courier company was a mickey mouse operation from Southall. Ajith was helpful the moment he realised there was a problem. I chased up the courier company and finally got hold of the item. It was delivered 3 days later than it was suppose to but as I mentioned earlier it was not their fault. He did offer discount for any future purchase from him as well.

The pads are really light and same size as a GM 606 which I normally use in nets. Quality is good as well (including the stitching etc), The gloves are really comfortable and light.

I don't think I will buy any bats from there but soft goods are of good value. I agree with the hassle as returning a product will be a nightmare.

I have the new range superlite pads and gloves.

I got them from Ajit and as usual he was good.

Just allow two weeks delivery from the time of purchase...as it is standard for him.

However, I have ordered off Ajit three times over the lats couple of years and he has been very good.

No complaints from me.

New Matrix & the Hi Tech Pro gloves don't look that good..IMO..

The Gladiator pads look just like the ones they've been making for Puma, Mongoose et al.

The Hi Tech Gloves might end up staining the grips rather than the other way round.
