My visit to It's Just Cricket
« on: March 02, 2012, 09:01:33 PM »

Paul invited me last week to visit his shop which is only 2 miles away from my parents home. I am glad he has opened a cricket shop as there aren't manny specialised cricket shops around that area. I wish there was a shop in my playing days when i used to live in this area.
On arriving Paul welcomed me and I started looking at the bats which he stocks. They were decent quality and I must say Paul has a good knowledge about equipment. we chatted about equipment from different suppliers and which brand is selling well.

Overall I really liked the layout and stock as everything was nicely arranged. I wish Paul good luck and I am sure he will do well.

Regards

Asad

Really nice to see two retailers meeting up and discussing there interests, work etc  :)

It would be great for IJC if things take off, and no doubt Asad can provide a few words of wisdom if ever called upon.

It is like Gary Sobers meeting with a young Viv Richards for the first time and saying--'kid you have talent'.

Good luck to both of you!!  :)

Words of wisdom is an understatement - Asad is an encyclopaedia of cricketing knowledge and it's great to have his support.  Thanks for the post.
