Dynamite 2009
« on: March 26, 2009, 08:40:19 AM »

Have finally got my new 2009 bat ready and have had pre-orders which have kept me afloat.... one is going to be shipped to Leo for all his help!  Unfortunately we were not able to use his sticker design which I have discussed at length with him via email etc over the last few months.... but I sincerely hope he likes his bat.

Got to pick one out for myself.... you know times are hard when you have to buy one off yourself  ;D

Stickers will not be to everyones taste but everyone who has seen them in the flesh has really liked them.

Yep I am really pleased with them... unfortunately the pics do not really do them justice but as I say stickers are always down to individual taste and I'm sure some people won't like them.

They are made by dynamite bats which is myself and my business partner here in the UK.  Admittedly cricket bats is not my fulltime job but my business partner makes bats fulltime some of which are for other people.  I learnt quickly that i couldnt work alone on this venture and was lucky to find a great chap to take the business forward with.

Becoming a partnership has allowed me to use my sales and people skills which is what ive done all of my working life... For my partner its allowed him to concentrate on batmaking and let me worry about marketing issues... All in all things are looking good but only time will tell.

May I ask where's your batmaking partner based and what is his name?

Is it the Bristol area?

edit: Any reason for the clear [cellophane] wrapper in the first pic on some of the bats?

Cellaphane because the bats are being moved via courier and is there to protect them when i move them around.  Wouldnt want them to get marked up.  They are sent out with this and corrugated cardboard to stop damage... How do u package yours?
