Ayrtek, Woodstock or Redback Gloves?
« on: March 10, 2012, 01:05:35 PM »

I fancy some new softs for 2012 and have narrowed it down to Ayrtek, Woodstock and Redback.  I like the clean, simplicity of the Redback softs, but both Woodstock and Ayrtek look like excellent quality.  Has anyone recently bought any of these softs?

Pete

We've got plenty in stock if u do want a set, can get them sent for delivery on Tuesday of required :)

Gloves have been really well received by everyone that has used them and pads are going strong too. My set are going into their 3rd season now and have plenty of life on them yet!

Got pinned at about 70mph on the index finger last night In my Ayrtek gloves (have pads too) and hardly felt it hit me.
Was right on the finger nail too.

Woodstock have both sausage style and shark tooth style gloves. They are both £48.60 if ordered through johnno@woodstockcricket.co.uk Both Ayrtek and Woodstock are great gloves, might just be worth going with what you think looks best or what matches with the rest of your kit :)

I have not seen Woodstock pads but if Tom did osm pads I'd still be using Ayrtek stuff as pads were awesome and lad that has them now can't believe how light they for how protective they are and I've faced some pretty sharp bowling even got hit around 80mph in softs and held up very very well

Tom, I don't know why you are emphasising the fact that you are forum sponsors. We all know Ayrtek are forum sponsors and great ones :) Please feel free to enlighten me why you put it in bold, thanks ;)

Fair play, just thought it was a bit odd why it was in bold that's all :)
