Not sure where my previous post went?  ???

Wondering if anyone's bought these? Options, reviews if you have? Are are the straps long(ish)?

Pedals has the R11 pads which are light, comfortable and quality.
I have seen and felt the R7 pads which are the next ones down but still feel very good!

Chase softs have always been good quality for one of the smaller brands, the ones i have seen have had reasonably large straps

After finding the straps too short on morrant ultralight internationals and lots of umming and arring about SS Gladiator pads, I decided to take the plunge with the Chase R7's.

May do a mini review once I receive them.

I have the R11's and they fit me really well. I've never really thought about whether I have particularly fat calves or not but I very much doubt you'll have any problems.

For what it's worth the black Chase 'tags' on the end of the straps are backed with velcro as well so there is a lot of adjustment available.

Some pics:

Straps are long enough for my legs, infact just right - non spare or dangling.

The top thigh protection has PU but the rest is mesh with the exception of the area that says "Soft Touch" which is soft cotton. Then feel very comfortable on and although were very flat to start with leaving them for a few days with the straps done up tight has given them better wrap around.

My only disappointment is with the side bolster/ protection. Feels it's a tad on the small side - It's probably because I'm used to 8 cane bars + the side protection. And this is only 7...

Great quality and look though.
