HELP - Keeping pad advice
« on: March 12, 2012, 09:52:21 PM »

I was hoping I could get some advice from some keepers on the site, I have had some awesome tips from a friend who got me some quality gloves and inners. I need advice on wicket keeping pads, I currently have puma 3000 but they are flimsy and rubbish.

What do you guys recommend?

Cheers Steve 'Spider' Gray

The look quality, the test pads how much are they? Johnny W do you deal with Aaron Ruffcock aka Roco on here? He got me a pair of tip top gloves and look very similar to yours but dark green without any logos and stuff?

Hi spider,

I'm selling a pair of brand new GM Paul Nixon pads here, very light and comfortable traditional style pads.

Yes mate I sold the gloves to Aaron which he sold onto you. They were the sample gloves I got made. I only changed the colours on the gloves and added logos. The pads are £35 posted

Johnny,

Can I say those gloves are fantastic, fit my hands perfectly. They were slightly smaller than normal Aaron said, which I am assuming they are because I have smallish man hands compared to most. I appreciate it thank you very much. with regards to the pads, how long does the offer stand for because being a university student I can't work until Easter ( 2 weeks away for me) would I be able to reserve a pair and maybe get them sent to Aaron?

Good to hear that you are happy with the gloves mate. The price is the forum price that I offer and it is the price that I have set for the foreseeable future. I will be selling these for a higher price on my website once I get it launched. I will honour that price to you anyway no matter how long it takes and I have plenty in stock.
