Not all players have trigger movements, and not all have trouble with moving their feet. It's not a great trigger though because a) you're not that still at point of release, b) it's not always exactly the same (so implicit movement and muscle memory will be tricky), c) it doesn't allow you to bring your bat down straight so you lose your balance, and d) it doesn't get you side on and in the best place to play the shot. It's more of a premeditation to try and hit through the leg side. I would be more worried about the fact that you aren't side on when playing, because your footwork doesn't look too bad. When hitting straight, do you hit leg side in the 'v'? But I'm sure Buzz will show off his knowledge and tell me I'm wrong so I'd wait for him to see it lol.
