Good fight. Very nice effort from Bangladesh. Like in every sport, winning is a habit and when a team does not have that it becomes a little more difficult for them in their heads. I was really rooting for the underdog. Just hope they will be more competitive from here on. The entire country is absolutely nuts about cricket and it is about time Bangladesh really started playing to their potential. This effort should give them a lot of confidence.

They are now at a level where if the big 4 dont turn up they could easily beat them. they chased 290 odd fairly easily, but this fanatastic result (considering India's recent odi form) was understandably overshadowed by sachins 100th ton.

Top 6 then  :D
Australia, India, South Africa, England, Pakistan and Sri lanka. They are now a really effective team now as opposed to a few standing out & the others just turning up.

Bangladesh played exceptional cricket, in my eyes they are winners.

I wish they had the trophy they truly deserved it
