People I thought Filton was ok?! I thought Downend was the one to avoid out of the three ;)

Downend is all right actually, Peplow is right, would avoid Filton. Clifton is nicest but price tags will match

Will bear that in mind! The one I'm most likely to go for is Downend, as I need to be near the M32 for work. My bud from Bristol keeps saying Clifton, but too expensive I think!

Rubbish if you have a car in Clifton too, if you choose the right bit of Downend it's far better than Filton. Look to keep away from the Staple Hill end, unless you are a fan of Miss Millie's Chicken!

Can't get a worse start than Durham uni 18 all out granted against Durham first class but ouch none the less

The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

Saw that and thought my eyes were deceiving me, then on second look I was sure. Shocking even if it was a uni!

Looks like I'm moving clubs this year (although nothing confirmed yet) so not at all sure when my first game is!

Bristol West Indies love big hitters! But in all seriousness, the majority of our games are that way anyway?

Haha, don't think I'd fit in too well with them Matthew! Yeah I see your point, but if I'm going to be living up that way, I want to get to know a few people... It's difficult as I don't want to lose contact with the boys at Minehead, but I've spoke with Roo and he's happy for me to whatever...

First game is Scheduled for this Sunday, but with the weather being like it is and looks as if its going to stay the same way for a good couple of days, looks like I may have to wait another week for my first game :(
