Yeah, shame about that! Didn't help we only had 9 men mind fella! 2 more men and we'd have turned them over big style, just been that sort of season for us. Only got 7 for this coming Saturday too, out of our entire registered squad!

great effort to get close, we had them rattled big time.

And it turns out not just one but two of our lads were injured, you seen Cam's FB status? Best he's batted all season and he had a broken bloody thumb! Madness!

i did well not to swear bud and despite netting nearly every night its just not helping, we have some good players but we are all out of form with the bat and struggling massively.

I net most nights, working on bowling, but not everybody wants to net, too much hassle, or worried not enough people come down, like there's no commitment! We've only had 4 50s all season, and 2 of them came yesterday, and all but 1 have been in a losing cause. We can't put out a consistent bowling attack, we can't put out a consistent line-up, and (like yesterday) we struggle to even put out a side! It's so disheartening!

not all doom and gloom for you ben, mylo and gaz are good young bowlers + big dave impressed me, if he carries on improving at that rate he will be class. holv will put it on the spot and you're a good bowler. cam showed some grit and brummy looked good. beany could easily do what i did and all of a sudden you're giving those sorts of teams good game. add in a couple of players to actually make 11 and you'll be beating them.

keep the faith!

Mylo doesn't know whether he'll be at our place next season, and Beanie won't turn out on Sundays very often, if at all, same goes with Holv! Gaz goes into the army next year, bit like at Timbo you get a side together with some young talent and they all separate for different reasons! Shame really, but if we get Hargy and Rhodesy will be alright!

It was a proper stuffing!!  I nearly took a tumble but apart from that the ball was going to the boundary too quickly to chase...

Good win in our LMS match last night. Having restricted the opposition to 137 off 20, with them scoring only 17 of the last 7, we scored the required runs inside 16 overs to take full bonus points. Didn't need to bat and we had some good tight bowling.

Special mention has to go to the Laver & Wood Reserve Ultra I acquired earlier in the season. It has managed to score around 300 runs in T20s this season, sadly mostly in others hands, and the guy who scored 50 in 5 overs yesterday used it and reckoned it was all middle!

Bowled and fielded awfully on Saturday but then hit an average unbeaten 50 against the strongest bowling attack in the league. Then hit a worse unbeaten 50 on Sunday as we got beaten again. Unfortunately we got done over by the rain on Sunday they took took our run rate to work out what they needed off only 20 overs which made a mockery of the game.
